Need explanation for first bill

I just had my service installed on 28-04-2020. My monthly bill is only €32.99, but I received a higher amount in my first bill. Anyone can give me an explanation about this?

Prorated charges apply usually on the first issued invoice after a new contract was signed or a new service was activated. For example, if you signed a new contract on the 28th of April, your first invoice will be issued in May, and it will contain the normal cost of your service in advance for the entire month of May, and a prorated amount for April, this is calculated by dividing the full cost of the service to the number of days of the month, and then multiply the result to the number of days you had the service active in that month.
